Notice of changes in The Corporate List of Terms & Conditions and the Fee Schedule and the General Business Conditions for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise Crediting
Raiffeisen Bank Zrt. informs its Customers about the following amendments.
In accordance with Part 1, Chapter XIX, Section 19.13.4 of the General Business Conditions, due to changes in the public charges relating to our activities the Bank unilaterally amends certain fees, effective on the dates set out below. The amendment follows changes to the laws on financial transaction tax.1
The amendment affects the Corporate List of Terms & Conditions and, if the Customer has made an individual agreement with the Bank in a Fee Schedule signed as an annex to its Payment Account Agreement, also the Fee Schedule.
In the context of the amendment, for all tariffs in the List of Terms & Conditions and in the Fee Schedule where the tariff (or a component thereof) contains:
- the designation “0.3%, but maximum HUF 10,000”, i.e. the tariff itself is “0.3%, but maximum HUF 10,000” or the element “0.3%, but maximum HUF 10,000” is added to a percentage and/or fixed-amount fee element, in such cases the fee element “0.3%, but maximum HUF 10,000” will increase to “0.45%, but maximum HUF 20,000”.
- the designation “0.6%, but maximum HUF 3,000,000” or “0.6%”, i.e. the tariff itself is “0.6%, but maximum HUF 3,000,000” or “0.6%” or the element “0.6%, but maximum HUF 3,000,000” or “0.6%” is added to a percentage and/or fixed-amount fee element, in such cases the fee element “0.6%, but maximum HUF 3,000,000” will increase to “0.9%, but maximum HUF 4,500,000” and “0.6%” will increase to “0.9%”.
The Corporate List of Terms & Conditions including the amended fees will be published on 9 August 2024 and will be available on the website www.raiffeisen.hu and in our branches from that date.
The amended Corporate List of Terms & Conditions and Fee Schedule will enter into force on 9 October 2024.
Please take note that in accordance with Part 1, Chapter XIX, Section 19.20 of the General Business Conditions unless you give written notice to the Bank before 9 October 2024 to the effect that you do not accept the amendments, you will be deemed to have accepted all the above amendments. Rejection of the amendment shall be regarded as termination with immediate effect of the agreement affected by the amendment. Please be informed that by the date of entry into force of the amendment, you shall have the right to terminate your agreement concerned by the change with immediate effect free of charge.
Please be informed that if the Customer fulfils any payment obligations to the Bank arising on any title from a loan or credit agreement with the Bank, the amendment will also affect the Customer in the sense that the following paragraph of Section IX/7 of the Special Provisions of the General Business Conditions for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise Crediting (the “GBC SMEC”) will be amended with effect from 24 August 2024 as follows (the deleted part is marked with strikethrough, and the new part applicable from the entry into force of the amendment is bolded):
“The measure of transaction duty is 0,45% of the amount of the loan repayment or that of the charged fee or commission, subject to a ceiling of HUF 20,000 per transaction (if the loan repayment or the payment of fee or commission takes place in a foreign currency, the amount of the transaction duty shall be established on the basis of the MNB FX Rate quoted for the day of performance)”.
The amended GBC SMEC will be published on 9 August 2024 and will be available on the website www.raiffeisen.hu and in our branches from that date.
The amended GBC SMEC will enter into force on 24 August 2024.
Please take note that in accordance with Part 1, Chapter XIX, Section 19.17 and Section 19.19 of the General Business Conditions unless you give written notice to the Bank before 24 August 2024 to the effect that you do not accept the amendments, and fail to repay to the Bank the amount owed to it under your contract, together with the applicable charges, you will be deemed to have accepted the above amendment of the GBC SMEC. You are also entitled to accept the amendment before the effective date proposed by the Bank. In the case of acceptance, the amendment shall take effect on the date proposed by the Bank.
